Photo of Ollie MonroeWhy did you want to be a CUE?

When I learned about the CUE program, I was instantly interested due to the possibilities it holds not only for others, but for myself. I am super excited to be able to share my stories and experiences with those who may be in similar or different situations to help expand their breadth of knowledge and curiosity about other's cultures, hardships, and identities.

Why do you think the CUE Program is important for IU?

The CUE Program holds an important spot in the IU community as it allows for everyone to have a place to safely ask questions and gain education regarding the most difficult topics in college, things they will not be taught in the classroom. CUEs give a sense of safety and connectedness between individual communities at IU and allow for further education, experience, and tolerance as students spend their time on campus.
